William (Bill) E. Smith, 48, of Bad Axe passed away on July 14, 2014.
Bill was born in Bad Axe on March 4, 1966 to the late Walter H. and Elizabeth G. Smith of Pigeon.
Bill married Kimberly Schmidt on September 19, 1998.
William enjoyed watching & hunting deer, spending time with his family and friends and his dog, Precious.
Bill is survived by his wife, Kim of Bad Axe; sisters Betty (Greg) McKnight of Bad Axe, Colleen Smith of Bad Axe, and Nancy Smith of Bad Axe; mother in law Bev Krinkie of Caseville; brother in laws Dan Schmidt of Caseville, Michael (Krissy) Schmidt of Bad Axe; sister in law Doris Schmidt of Caseville; niece Jennifer McKnight of Bellevue, Ohio; nephews James McKnight of San Francisco, California; Seth Miekowski of Warren, Michigan and a great nephew Dylan McKnight.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph.
A gathering will take place on Friday, July 18th from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Mac Chapel at Mac Alpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe.
Memorials may be shared to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
