Vernon Leroy Jenkins, 73, of Harbor Beach passed away on February 17, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Illinois on July 16, 1947 to the late Vernon and Emma (Fishborne) Jenkins.

Vernon served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a jack of all trades working at various jobs.

He is survived by his son: Scott Jenkins of Harbor Beach; his step-daughters: Ronda Carpenter of Santa Rosa, California and Dana Carpenter of Chico, California; and many grandchildren.  Vernon is also survived by his siblings: Mark (Mary) Jenkins of Redding, California, Bud (Barbara) Jenkins, Connie (Ed) McNary and Audrey (Curtis) Smith, both from Vancouver, Washington; along with several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.

Memorials may be offered to be used at the family's discretion (c/o Scott Jenkins).
