Stanley Joseph Wieczorek, 91 years old, of Caseville, passed away November 2, 2023 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. He was born to the late Stanley and Monica (Zmich) Wieczorek on June 21,1932 in Detroit, Michigan. Stanley and Christine Szczupak were married on September 8, 1956 and recently celebrated 67 years of marriage. Their love was everlasting from their first date until his last breath. He will live on in her heart forever.

Stanley was a pharmacist for 50 years, working in various pharmacies in the Detroit area. He enjoyed playing the drums, gardening and prospecting. He was an avid football fan having played in high school and college, and enjoyed watching the Lions play and was especially excited to watch their winnings this fall. He spent his summers in Caseville at the family cottage since his teenage years, and enjoyed fishing, swimming and boating. He loved all of his pets he had through the years, both dogs and cats.

Stanley is survived by his sons; Stanley Wieczorek, Stephen (Tracie) Wieczorek, Mark (Karen) Wieczorek, Jack Wieczorek; daughters Linda Hensel, and Jeanette (Ken) Shelley; grandchildren Kaytie (Kyle) Bowman, Jack Jr.; great-grandchildren Liam, Wyatt and Roy.

He was preceded in death by his daughters-in-law Denise, Vonda, and son-in-law Jack.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 1:00 at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe, with Pastor Michael Goforth from the Calvery Baptist Church in Caseville, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-1:00 at the funeral home until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in Rapson, Michigan.

Memorials may be offered to the Thumb Animal Shelter in Elkton in memory of Stanley.
