Rosey Mae Hallitt, 83 years old of Filion, passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at the Huron County Medical Care Facility. Rosey was born on September 2, 1939 to the late Carl and Carrie Hintz.

Rosey and Roy Hallitt were married on June 6, 1968. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Rosey was a home maker most of her life, and loved her cats. She was known to take in many strays and give them new homes.

Rosey is survived by her daughter Carolyn Kubacki; sister Gloria Hintz; grandchildren Joshua Kubacki, Diana Kubacki; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William Hintz; sisters Norma Jean Hintz, Daisy Hintz, infant sister Carrie Hintz; and her son in law Gene Kubacki.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
