Obituary

Rosemary Coulter, 82, resident of Port Hope, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at home with family by her side.
She was born December 2, 1930 in Metamora, MI to the late Harold and Irma (Kurtz) Andress.
She was united in marriage to Bernard Coulter on July 15, 1949 at the Metamora Congregational Church.
No words can describe the loss of our mom, grandma, sister and friend. She lived a full happy life and loved her family more than anything, except for maybe euchre and the Detroit Tigers. She had a never ending sense of humor and loved to be the center of attention. No one disliked Rose and if they did they had a character flaw and she would be the first one to tell you that. The legacy Rosemary and Bernard s left behind to their family is laughter, love and the value of family. She will be greatly missed but greatfully welcomed back into the arms of her husband Ben, father, Harold and mother, Irma, sisters, Elaine and Cathy. May your laughter fill Heaven's Gates.
Rosemary was a member of the Port Hope United Methodist Church. She proudly served as President of the Port Hope Seniors and was also a member of the Harbor Beach Seniors. She enjoyed playing euchre and canasta, flower gardening and bowling. Rosemary was an office manager at the Bad Axe K-mart Store, before retiring after 23 years.
She is survived by her children, Lucille (Larry) Pfunt, Dan (June) Coulter, Allen (Penny) Coulter and Annette Kucharczyk; adopted son, Raymond (Joanne) Schulte; special friend, Bill Emerick; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Port Hope United Methodist Church with a gathering for family and friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund. Condolences may be shared at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com
