Robert Michael "Jake" Jakubowski, age 84, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2026. Born on September 30, 1941, in Hamtramck, Michigan, he was the beloved son of Leo and Helen Jakubowski.
Robert dedicated 36 years of hard work to Pontiac Motors in Pontiac, Michigan, where he built not only a career but lasting friendships. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Dryden Veterans Club.

On June 6, 1964, Robert married the love of his life, Nadine I. Siglow Jakubowski. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family—a bond that remained strong throughout 61 years of marriage.
Robert will be remembered for his kind and caring heart, his love for life, and his wonderful sense of humor. He had a gift for making others smile, always ready with a joke or a kind word. His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Nadine; his children, Michelle (Tom Ashton) Jakubowski, Christopher Jakubowski, and Cassandra (Martin) Deel; his cherished grandchildren, Courteney (Matthew) Benck and Dakota Deel; and his brother, Leon (Debbie) Jakubowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert's memory will be forever held in the hearts of his family and friends, who will miss him dearly and remember him always.
