Richard A. Binder of Bad Axe, Michigan passed away peacefully on July 18, 2022 with his family by his side, at Scheurer Hospital of Pigeon Michigan. Richard was born February 13, 1946 to the late Clarence and Carol (Stanton) Binder. Richard was happily married for 56 years to Betty (Dunlap) Binder. He was an active member of the Bad Axe Free Methodist church.

Richard was a hard working farmer and truck driver. He enjoyed sharing his love of Christ with the singing groups "The Believers" and "From the Heart". Richard and his wife Betty taught many years of dance, which included the dance group," East Coast Swingers". He spent his free time camping and he looked forward to being with his family.

Richard is survived by his wife Betty, sons Jeffrey (Jan) Binder of Hicksville, Ohio, Darin (Beckie) Binder of Pigeon, Michigan; daughter Krystal L. (Bobby Lane) Binder of Howell, Michigan; sisters Judy Taylor of Cass City, Michigan, Janice' (Mel) Stonewall of Waterford, Michigan

Grandchildren; Justin & Krisha Binder, Shelby & Josh Oury, Kiley & Kyle Capodice, Kyle & Gabrielle Binder, Kole & Jennifer Binder, Karson Binder, Keegan Binder, Lillyan Kulbacki; great-grandchildren, Brett, John, Ian, Reid, Ellie Ana, Brooks, Levi; several nieces and nephews and his little dog, Princeton.

Funeral service for Richard will be held on Friday July 22, 2022 at Bad Axe Free Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jerry Sutton and Pastor Gary Butterfield officiating, with burial at Verona Township cemetery. Visitation will be at the MacAlpine Funeral Home on Thursday July 21, from 2-8:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
