Patricia Ann Ney, 87 years old of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday June 29, 2023, with her husband by her side. Patricia was born on January 23, 1936 to the late Wilber K. Simons and Olive Genevieve (Sharette) Simons. On August 9, 1958, she and Donald J. "Butch" Ney were married and had raised their family together for 64 years in Bad Axe.

Patricia enjoyed playing "Bingo", was a former employee of Pete's Bar, and gave care and support to friends. Her greatest joy in life, were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she never missed calling them weekly.

Patricia is survived by her husband Butch; sons Ronald (Stormi) Ney, Michael Ney; daughters Sherrie (Steven) Lalonde, Terri Ney; sisters in law Sharon Ney, Darlene Ney; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son Donald; brother John Simons; sister Sally; brothers and sisters in law James Ney, Gerald and Donna Schenk, Steven and Eileen Fabyan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.
