Michael J. Beaver, 62, of Filion, passed away on March 19, 2021.

He was born on January 19, 1959 to the late Marvin and Mary (Costello) Beaver.

Mike graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1978.  He worked at Thuet/Bradey Redi-Mix in Kinde and Willie Farms for many years.   Mike was always an avid reader, especially of local history books; he was also a good storyteller.  He will be remembered for being a hard worker.

Mike is survived by his siblings: Michelle (Don) Melnik of Bad Axe and Mark Beaver (Rose) of Bad Axe; his nieces and nephews: Shannon Melnik (Raymond Ortiz), Daniel (Lisa) Melnik, Aaron (Kari) Melnik, Mialie and Kyra Beaver; along with several great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
