Mary L. (Blackstock) Prill, 76 years old of Bad Axe, passed away on January 12, 2023 at Courtney Manor of Bad Axe. Mary was born May 1, 1946 to the late Amelia Blackstock. Mary graduated from Bad Axe High School.  On November 27, 1965 she married Joseph Prill, and he was the love of her life. Mary and Joe raised their family in Bad Axe.

Mary retired from Huron County Medical care facility in 2009. She was a loyal Moose Lodge member for several years. She was an avid polka fan, and she and Joe enjoyed attending the Kinde Polka Fest every year. Mary enjoyed worshiping at St. Mary's in Kinde where she was a member. Mary enjoyed going to the tech center every week to have her granddaughter Emma paint her nails in cosmetology class. She loved cooking and baking for everyone. She was always trying to feed everybody, whether it was a meal, desert or a snack. Mary enjoyed walking, riding her bike and reading mystery books. She was extremely proud of her grandkids and children. Family and friends were most important to her. She was a small lady with a Big heart. She would always say "Good things come in small packages" and she is one small package we will all miss.

Mary is survived by her children Kathy Rinnert, Kurt Prill, Keith (Cindy) Prill; grandchildren Matt (Alysha) Rinnert, Amy Rinnert, Emma Prill, Marissa Prill; great grandchildren Matthew Jr., MaKenzie, Samantha and Lily; siblings Jim (Donna) Blackstock, Ed (LuAnn) Blackstock, Gary (Jackie) Blackstock, Mark (Becky) Blackstock, Gloria (Dave) Shuff, Jane Blackstock, Sue Babb, Shirley (Don) Bland, Linda (Chester) Gucwa, Carol (Keith) Farver; brothers and sisters in law Mike (Joan) Prill, Francis Wlash, Joanne (Tom) Butch, Richard Schmidt, Edna Miller, Marianne (Pat) Sieman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, parents in law, her husband Joseph Prill, her great grandson Steven Rinnert, son in law Robert Rinnert; siblings Bill (Rosemary) Blackstock and Dale Blockstock, brothers and sisters in law John Prill, Alex (Florence) Prill, Edward Prill, Marlene Yokam, Karen (Rocky) Nichols, Virginia Lubeski and Theresa Schmidt.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on January 17, 2023 at St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church, Kinde, Michigan at 12:00 PM with Fr. T.J. Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's cemetery of Kinde.

Visitation will be on January 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 at St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church of Kinde, Michigan.

Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund.
