Mary E.  Jackson, 62, of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021 at her home under hospice care.

She was born on March 25, 1959 in Bad Axe, MI, to the late William and Arlene (Sternberg) Jackson, and was a lifelong resident.

Mary was the behind the scenes quiet driving force. She was MOM to all, and was talented in baking, cooking, crafts and anything she put her mind to. She spent her life being the caregiver for her son Stanley.

Mary is survived by her children Stanley Lewis, Thomas Lewis, and Melissa Lewis (Bradley Farlow); her siblings Ronald, Richard, Michael Allen, Duane, Carole Jean, Barbara Jane, Gertrude Faith, Janet Marie, and Elizabeth Ann; and her grandchildren Emmie Lewis and Kyree Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Johnathon; her siblings Patricia Ann, Selena Mae and Darlene Kaye.

The family would like to thank Becky from McLaren Hospice, for the wonderful care of their mother.

A gathering for Mary will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 1:00- 5:00 p.m., at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe, with a Memorial service being held at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. William O'Nan presiding.
