Mary H. Collings-Proctor, 69, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away at her home in Clarkston on January 6, 2015.
Mary was born on February 8, 1945 in Bad Axe to the late Roy and Helen (Goretski) Collings I.
She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree and then went on to Oakland University and earned her Master's degree. Mary retired from the Department of Social Services. She enjoyed reading, shopping, finances, and continuing her education for CPA.
Mary is survived by her brothers Roy (Sharon A.) of Bad Axe, John (Sharon L.) of Bad Axe, William of Bad Axe, Carl of Bad Axe, Gary (Elaine) of Deckerville, Ricky (Rose) of Bad Axe and Randy (Kathy) of Bad Axe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Mazure.
Memorial service will be 11 am Saturday, January 10th at Free Methodist Church in Bad Axe with Rev. Jerry Sutton officiating. Visitation will be 9 – 11 am Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund.
