Lorraine Claire Lewis, 88, of Bad Axe passed away on December 2, 2014 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw.
Lorraine was born on August 9, 1926 to the late Charles and Claire (Huber) Krist in Detroit.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. Lorraine enjoyed her crafts, flower garden and canning.
Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Shelley (Edward) Ryan of Chicago, Lisa Simmons of Bad Axe; sons Gregg Nicholas of Kinde, Stanley Lewis of Bad Axe, Wes Lewis of Bad Axe and Mark (Tammy) Lewis of Kinde; sister Shirley of Detroit; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Bryan Nicholas and grandsons, Jonathon Lewis and Krist Nicholas.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, December 6th at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 pm Friday, December 5th at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe and from 10 – 11 am Saturday, December 6th at the church.
Memorials may be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund.
