Linda K. Yaroch , 71 of Port Austin, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2022.  Linda was born on November 8, 1950 to the late Fred and Ann (Hercliff) Empkie.  Linda and Ozzie Yaroch were married October 21, 1972 and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this year.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being with her grandchildren.  Going to the library, reading books, playing at the park and beach, playing games and doing crafts together were some of the many ways she shared her love with them. Linda enjoyed traveling with her husband to visit with her sons, seeing many parts of the country, having bonfires with family and friends, painting, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitch and making art projects in the community. Linda was well known for her infectious laugh which many of her friends and family will always cherish. Linda was a regular supporter of the Port Austin Community Players and enjoyed many musicals and plays, and was also a member of the Port Austin American Legion Auxillary Post #499, and was retired from the Magistrate District Court as Clerk of Huron County.

Linda is survived by her husband Ozzie, daughter Kim (Mike LaCombe), sons Jeff (Lindsay), and Mike; grandchildren Scarlett Yaroch, Callen Yaroch; brother Paul (Nancy) Empkie, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde at 12:00 PM.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde, from 3:00-8:00 PM, and from 11:00 until the time of service on Thursday. A rose ceremony by the Port Austin American Legion Auxillary will be presented at 7:00 PM.

Memorials may be offered to Port Austin American Post #499, Port Austin Library or the Port Austin Community Players.
