Lillian "Lily" Wilke, 79, of Port Austin Township, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2015 at Huron County Medical Care Facility.

Lillian was born in Detroit on January 18, 1936 to the late Ellis and Anna (Hall) Gillum.

Lily lived life to the fullest; she lived in Michigan, California, Florida and Hawaii. She enjoyed reading, racing cars, sky diving, camping, dancing and spending time with her family.

Lily is survived by her daughters: Diane (Brad) Putvin of Clarkston, Michigan, Christine Wilke (husband Michael McNeal) of Tarpon Springs, Florida; and Michele Wilke of Oakland, California; grandson Daniel Schillinger of Port Austin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Marvin and Jude Gillum and sisters Bonnie Shirkey and Patricia Pokone; niece Kathy Shirkey and nephews Brian & Craig Gillum.

Per Lily's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th at the home of Diane and Brad Putvin in Clarkston, Michigan. For more information, please contact MacAlpine Funeral Home.

Lillian donated generously to many children's charities. Her favorites were St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Feed the Children.
