Leta Farrell Heck, 82 years old of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 with the "love of her life" Frank holding her hand. She was born on March 18, 1941 to the late Willie and Ellar (Collett) Farrell in Beverly, Kentucky.

Leta and Frank Heck were married on March 16, 1991 and enjoyed loving each other for 32 (plus) years. They felt very Blessed to be together.

Leta enjoyed knitting and crocheting, which she was very meticulous about getting it perfect. She loved to quilt and make teddy bears and dolls, and had a large button collection. She loved to shop at thrift stores, loved all animals and was a superb homemaker. Prayer was a daily part of her life and she had great faith knowing that God would always provide for all of her needs.

Leta was sweet and kind and a very beautiful lady and was loved by everyone that knew her. She stood out in a crowd, and the love of Christ shown through her.  Leta will be very missed by all who loved her.

Leta is survived by her husband Frank, her daughter Pam (Rick) Noel; her sister Juanita Sharpe; brother-in-law Homer Rice; grandchildren Richard Stephens and Brandon Stephens; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; parents in law Frank and Patricia Ceci; brothers in law Joseph (Jackie) Heck, David (Nicole) Ceci and sister-in-law April (Lloyd) Walker.  She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Wilson; brothers Jim Farrell, Mason Farrell; sisters Viola Farrell and Irene Rice.

Frank is very grateful for the wonderful care given to Leta by her A&D hospice caregivers Janice and Terisa; nurses Jean, Sheila and Heather, and Pastor Randall.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be offered to Thumb Animal Shelter in Leta's name.
