Lawrence "Larry" Pfundt, 54, of Bad Axe, passed away on August 26, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Flint, Michigan on July 4, 1963. His adoptive parents were the late Lawrence and Hazel (Doddington) Pfundt.

On February 11, 1996, he married Lucy Coulter at the Victory in Christ Community Church in Bad Axe.

Larry was very active in his church, the Victory in Christ Community Church of Bad Axe: either teaching the children, member on the worship team and treasurer of the "Pass It on Furniture Store".   In his spare time, he studied his Bible, was an avid reader, watched old western movies and Gospel shows, watching the little league baseball games and  football.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lucy Pfundt of Bad Axe; his step sons, Brian and Dale Rogers; nieces and nephews: Jeremy, Donna, Pedro, Melissa and Richard and close family friend/caregiver, Gerry Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Dorothy Gardner; his first wife, Patsy (Hunt) Pfundt; his brothers, Norman and Dale and sister Lucille.

Memorial service for Larry will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Victory in Christ Community Church in Bad Axe with Rev. Stewart Justin officiating.  There will be a gathering at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund.
