Judy Thompson 78 years old of Bad Axe, born on August 15, 1943,  was welcomed home to heaven on August 2, 2022, by her mother, Marian (Giffel) Thompson, her father Curtis D. Thompson, brother Robert J. Thompson and nephew Tracy Thompson. Judy is survived by her brother Curtis T. Thompson, nieces; Michelle (Mikailu) Sorie, Amy (Matt) Yakich, and Tiffany (Frederyk) Siedlarz; nephew Treavor (Shannon) Thompson; great nieces and nephews Eliana, Emily, Madelyn, Nathaniel, Chase, Robert, Dylan, Steven and Joshwa.

Judy loved her pets, especially her dogs. Judy took great pride in her home and beautiful flower beds in her yard, and loved to spend time with her many friends shopping, touring the county where she lived and just sitting and visiting. She will be greatly missed by her close neighbors and friends who were like family to her, Carrie and Steve Shaltonis and family, Barb Byarski, Celine and Randy Becking and family, and Mary Haley.

Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hubert Parish / Sacred Heart Church in Bad Axe, with Fr. T.J. Fleming officiating.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
