Joyce Elaine Zulauf, 86, of Bad Axe, passed away on February 14 ^th , 2018 at Courtney Manor of Bad Axe.  Joyce was born on November 1, 1931 in Bad Axe to the late Alvin and Lillian (Shaw) Keillor.

Joyce graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1949 and married her high school sweetheart, William Zulauf on June 16, 1951. Bill preceded her in death in 2005 after 54 years of marriage.

Joyce enjoyed reading, fishing and watching the wildlife on her farm. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always happy to spend time with them listening to them play and laugh together.

Joyce is survived by her children William (Celeste) Zulauf of Denver Colorado, James (Doreen) Zulauf of Ubly, and Holly (Larry) Swackhamer of Bad Axe, her "special "second daughter Kim Kolder of Bad Axe, and her sister in law Gerri Keillor of Princeton, Virginia. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Heidi Becker, Will Zulauf, (Tracy), Zach  Zulauf, (Amy), Jeffrey (Liza ) Zulauf, Jenna (Justin) Findlay, Jason (Amy ) Swackhamer and Joshua (Nichole ) Swackhamer; and Great grandchildren Layne, Aiden, Nolan, Leighton, Abigail, Jordan, Sydnee, Graham, Ellerie, Penelope, Jack, Hazel, Cooper, Ashlinn, Gabriella, Lainey, Avery,  and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne, and sister, Shirley St. Andre.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 21 at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe at 11:00 AM, with special family friend, Rev. Sandra J. Kolder officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 20 ^th from 4-8 PM, and on Wednesday at 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Per Joyce's wishes, cremation will take place after the service.

The family would like to send a special Thank You to Courtney Manor for the loving care shown to their Mother while she was there. No words can express our truest gratitude to all of the staff.
