Joan Katherine Yaroch, 75 years old of Kinde, passed away August 2, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on January 5, 1949 to the late Michael and Helen (Koroleski) Yaroch. Joan lived her lifetime on the family farm.

Joan was known for her baking, and especially enjoyed making treats for her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching baking shows on tv and was happiest spending tons of time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Dwight, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #499, and the treasurer of St. Mary's Rosary Sodality. In her youth, Joan enjoyed the competition of playing volleyball and softball.

Joan is survived by her siblings; Ronald Yaroch, Kenneth (Jan) Yaroch, Linda (Ken) Rutkowski, Debbie (Carl) Osentoski; special nieces and nephews Jodi (Kevin) Golochowicz, Lisa (Scott) Graichen, Tony (Adrienne) Rutkowski, Marianne (Ray) Rollet, Sam (Ashley) Osentoski, Alex Osentoski; great nieces and nephews Austin, Jake, Michael, Sadie and Matthew Golochowicz, Jonathon Graichen, Molly and Brody Rutkowski, Theo, Helena and Gabby Rollet; and her dear friend Laura Mayes.

Mass of Christian burial for Joan will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St. Mary's of Czestochowa (Annunciation of the Lord Parish) at 11:00 AM, with Fr. Craig Carolan officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's of Czestochowa Catholic cemetery, Kinde, Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde from 2:00-8:00 PM, with a rosary service at 6:00 PM.

Visitation will also be 10:00 until the time of service on Wednesday at the church. Memorials in Joan's name may be given to the donor's choice.
