Jeffrey Jay Connors, 66 of Bad Axe, passed away on January 15, 2025 at McLaren Lapeer under hospice care. He was born on April 23,1958 to the late Mark and Helen (Weiss) Connors. Jeff graduated from Bad Axe High school in 1976. Jeff was on the National Honor Society and enjoyed all sports with football was his passion, and he was chosen first team All-Conference in his senior year.

After graduation Jeff moved to Santa Fe New Mexico, working there until returning home in 2000, where he was then again close to family and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Jeff enjoyed coaching with the Bad Axe youth football.

Jeff is survived by his brothers Greg (Beth) Connors of Caseville, Scott Connors of Albuquerque NM, Kelly (Sharon) Connors of Linden, and his sister, Wendy (Lee) Gettel of Caseville; nephews Jade, Gage, Chase, and Kelson Connors; nieces Kristine Gettel, Tori, Aarynd and Kennedy Connors and a great nephew, Connor Flores.

Jeffery was preceded in death by one brother DJ Connors. Per Jeffery's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. A service will take place at a later date.

Memorials in Jeff's name may be offered to the Bad Axe Public Library.
