Henry (Hank) J. Siewert Jr., 80, of Bad Axe passed away on October 1, 2014 at home with family by his side.
Henry was born on July 23, 1934 in Bad Axe to the late Henry J. Siewert Sr. and Velma I. (Spencer) Siewert.
Hank was united in marriage to Linda F. Finkel on May 18, 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Hope, Michigan.
Henry was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe, Michigan. Hank was a graduate of Bad Axe High School Class of 1952. He enjoyed working for Osentoski Farm Equipment in Bad Axe for 30 years.
Henry is survived by his wife, Linda of 58 years; sons Richard L. Siewert of Bad Axe and Steven J. (Sherry) Siewert of Indiana; grandchildren Jason R. Siewert of Avon Lake, Ohio and Miranda (Jordan) Townsend of Madison, Mississippi; great grandchildren Michael and Kennedy Rae Townsend; niece Victoria (Tom) Grundman of Port Hope and grandniece Katy (Cameron) Hiller of Allen Park, Michigan.
Henry was preceded in death by a baby sister, Mary Jo and a baby brother Richard Lee.
In following of Hank's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
A private burial will take place at Colfax Township Cemetery in Bad Axe.
Arrangements are being handled by MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe.
