Georgina Kreh 95, of Alger, Michigan, formerly of Kinde passed away on October 7, 2022. She was born on March 3, 1927 on the family farm outside of Caseville, Michigan, to Robert and Vivian (Bostwick) Heasty. She married Alvin Kreh on June 29, 1946 at Caseville Methodist Church. They were married for 70 years before he preceded her in death.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Kinde were she was very active for many years. Georgina was a member of the choir, Women's Association where she was instrumental in making quilts for families that lost their homes to fires, attending Wednesday night Bible study, helping with the Church Community Christmas dinner, volunteered with the church table at Holly Berry Fair, and registered the children at VBS. Georgina loved to play golf and was a member of Scenic Golf Club in Pigeon, a member of the  Caseville American Legion Post #0543, and worked as a greeter at Kmart in Bad Axe, Michigan for many years. She enjoyed spending time at the family cabin near Cadillac. She was a great cook and was very giving to her family and many friends.

She is survived by her sons Thomas (Kathy) of Williamston, William (Connie) North Street, and Robert (Cheryl) of Alger; five grandchildren Matthew Kreh (Megan), Sara Stafford ( Troy), Joshua Kreh (Jennifer), Amanda Whymer (Kyle) and Gracie Lynn Davis-Kreh; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin in 2016, her sons Timothy and Alan; her sisters Patricia Fisher, Zella Weaver, Roberta Stahl, Maude Heck and her grandson Jason.

Visitation for Georgina will be held on Friday October 14, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the MacAlpine Gage Funeral home in Kinde, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church of Kinde, Michigan on Saturday, October 15, 2022, with Rev. Christina Jensen officiating.

The family would like to share their sincere gratitude for the care given to their mother while she was at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe, and to Promedica Hospice in West Branch, and Dobson Health Care of Kawkawlin, Michigan.

Per Georgina's wishes, cremation will take place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.

A private family graveside burial will take place at a later date at Caseville Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the First Presbyterian Church of Kinde.
