She was employed for many years at the Polewach Store in Bad Axe.  Thereafter, she worked at Fashion Bug, and for a period managed the Dollar Daze store in Bad Axe and also worked at Buckley Shoes. Richard (Christine) Knoblock of Port Austin, and Randall Knoblock of Royal Oak; and sister-in-law Joy Krajenka of Bad Axe. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents Michael and Irene Knoblock, her in-laws, William and Arlene Stocker, her brother, Robert Knoblock, brother-in-law Donald Stocker, sister-in- law Suzanne Knoblock, and nephew Michael Wineman.
