Edward Stroud, 77, of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2020, at Courtney Manor of Bad Axe, Michigan.

Edward was born in Bad Axe on August 17, 1943 to the late Edward Ostrega and Frances Haley Stroud.

He joined the Navy shortly after graduating high school, and served his country his whole life.

Edward was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Filion, and enjoyed spending his time tinkering in his garage fixing and repairing whatever he could get his hands on.

Edward is survived by his children, Craig (Amber ) Stroud of Poway California, and Dawna  (Charlie) Mosher, of Redding , California; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews,  brother Robert (Shelly) Stroud of Lake City, Florida and his sister Janet (Matthew) Williams, of London Utah,  and sister in law Debbie Stroud of Bad Axe, Michigan

He was preceded in death by his brothers Rev. Donald Stroud and John Stroud.

Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory, in Bay City Michigan.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
