Duane "Papa Dooney" Andreski, 61, of Bad Axe passed away suddenly on October 7, 2014.
Duane was born on June 1, 1953 in Bad Axe to the late Raymond and Frances (Kozlowski) Andreski.
He was united in marriage to Karen Krueger on May 14, 1976 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kinde.
Duane enjoyed fishing, hunting, working, polkas, playing Euchre, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He owned and operated Andreski Tree Service for twenty five years.
Duane is survived by his wife, Karen of 38 years; daughters Heidi (Todd) Rice of Davison and Katie (Matt) Fitchett of Novi; grandchildren Brody and Braylee Rice and Easton Fitchett; brother Arnold (Nancy) Andreski of Bay City; sister Ruthann (Jerry) Sitko of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Duane was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kinde at 11 A.M.
Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Friday, October 10th at the MacAlpine Funeral Gage Chapel in Kinde with a scripture reading at 7 P.M. and from 10 A.M. till time of service on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund.
