Douglas J. Wahl , age 88, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Douglas was born on June 13, 1932 in Oakland County to the late Douglas L. and Isabella (Croft) Wahl.  He graduated from Bad Axe High School, and entered the Army where he served in the Korean War.  Douglas graduated from Ferris University and has a degree in Accounting.

He was united in marriage to Beverly Bell on October 12, 1957.  Douglas and Beverly attended the United Methodist Church in Bad Axe.

Douglas owned his own business in RV Travel Trailers.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club; snowmobiling, and dune buggies.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Beverly;  one daughter, Marilyn Richardson, Idaho; four sons, Michael of North Dakoda, Jeffrey and Michele of Wyandotte, Gary of Lansing, Eric of Lincoln, NE.; Brother, Dennis (Carol) of Bad Axe; one sister, Joyce Damrow of Kinde; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Per Douglas' wishes, there will be no service and cremation will take place.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Staff for the loving care Douglas received.
