Douglas Leo Poppeck, 54, of Metamora, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, December 18, 2014.
Douglas was born in Bad Axe, the son of Donna Poppeck and the late Dennis Poppeck.
He graduated from Harbor Beach High School.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Donna Poppeck of Bad Axe, son Dustin (Amanda) Poppeck of Bad Axe; three grandchildren, D.J., Nickie and Natalie; two step grandchildren, Melissa and Melanie; a loving sister, Debra Brockman of Metamora and three loving brothers, Dean (Teresa) Goodrich, Darryl (Kim) of Caro and David (Marjorie) of Port Hope, along with ten nieces and nephews.
As per Douglas' wishes, cremation has taken place.
A gathering will be held 1-5 pm on Sunday, February 15th at Wilcox Community Center in Bad Axe.
