Dorothy Jean Roach , age 96, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Michigan, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, MO.  Mrs. Roach was born February 2, 1921 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada daughter of the late George and Doris (Frizzell) Hay.  Her family moved to the Detroit, Michigan in September of 1925 where she lived until moving to Poplar Bluff to live with her daughter 12 years ago.  Mrs. Roach graduated from Eastern High School in Detroit, Michigan.  She had worked in her parents jewelry store in Detroit and later her and her husband owned a hardware store in Lexington, MI.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking and gardening.  She was a member of the Catholic Church.  On July 3, 1943 she married Harry James Roach in Monterey, CA.  He preceded her in death on October 17, 2001.  She is survived by five daughters:  Colleen Ethridge of Poplar Bluff, MO, Sharon Jasina and Kathleen Cleary both of  Mount Clemens, MI, Maureen Hall, Omaha, NE, and Patricia Hinds of Bad Axe, MI; one son:  Bill Roach of Caro, MI; 16 grandchildren and 23 Great grandchildren.  Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Bad Axe, MI
