Doris M. McNeil, 78, of Colfax Township, passed away on August 29, 2021 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

She was born on April 1, 1943 in Bad Axe to the late Carl and Dorothy Mae (Mattice) Landenburg.

Doris was an active member of the Victory in Christ Church in Bad Axe.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, fill-in books and playing games on her tablet.

Doris is survived by her children: Gary McNeil Jr. and his wife, Veronica, of Bad Axe, Dolores Hiller and her husband, Terry, of Bad Axe and Annette Matula of Bad Axe; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Carol Campbell of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard A. Matula; her sisters, Stella (Julius) Laba and Betty (Dave) Roberts and her brother, Donald Landenburg.

Per Doris's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
