Donald W. Carter, 73, of Bad Axe, passed away on May 22, 2016 at his home.

He was born on November 13, 1942 to the late James and Margaret (Martha) Carter.

Don married, Katherine Winters. She preceded him in death in 1991.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter; brothers: Maynard (Letisha) Carter of Caseville and Leonard Carter of Pigeon; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Joann Griswold.

Don was preceded in death by his brother, Byron Carter.

Per Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund.
