Dennis E. Schroka, 73, of Port Austin, passed away on November 2, 2017 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland.

He was born on February 10, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edward F. and Helen Schroka.

On August 4, 1962, he married Katherine A. Semperger.   She preceded him in death on January 28, 2008.

Dennis owned and operated Lake Industries for thirty years.  When he wasn't busy working, he enjoyed tinkering with antique cars.

Dennis is survived by his son, Edward A. Schroka and his wife, Theresa, of Port Austin, his daughter, Kelly Kemp and her husband, James, of Davisburg, Michigan; grandsons, Edward F. and Joseph T. Schroka; his fiance, Michele Sobieski and step-children, Spencer Sobieski and Cody Sobieski (fiancé, Kendra Neuman).

Per Dennis's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.


He will be missed more than words can say.  We all love you Pops!
