Dennis
Bairski
Oct 3, 1952 — Aug 25, 2021
Dennis T. Bairski, 68, of Bad Axe, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Bad Axe on October 3, 1952 to Irene Ahearn and the late Theodore J. Bairski.
Dennis graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1970. He worked at Clemco Printing for over 30 years and was currently working at Tower Automotive in Elkton.
Dennis loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also was a history buff, loved to travel especially to New Orleans and to the trip to Gettysburg on the 150 th Anniversary of the battle, camping, fishing, bowling and playing softball. Dennis was one to never leave a crumb on his plate and enjoyed to eat ice cream. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed watching American Funniest Home videos. Dennis, more than anything, lived for his kids and grandkids. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time watching them playing ball and goofing off in the yard. His smile lit up the room and spread like wildfire to those around him. Dennis knew how to have fun and loved to visit new places.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Irene McIntosh of Bad Axe; his children: Aaron Bairski and his wife, Kendra, of Bad Axe and Nicole Espey and her husband, Dave, of Madisonville, Louisiana; his grandchildren: Brayden, Brooklyn and Breegan Bairski and Adrianna, Austin, and Adalynn Espey. He is also survived by his brothers: Gary (Delphine) Bairski, Rick Bairski, Keith Bairski (special friend, Kathy Little); one sister, Colleen Bairski and his nieces and nephews: Heather, Kristy, Karrie, Ciji, Quinn, Kayla and Shawna.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Theodore J. Bairski and his step-father, Eugene McIntosh.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church/St. Hubert Parish in Bad Axe with Fr. T.J. Fleming officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe; a celebration of life service will be at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be at the church on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Thumb Industries.
