David Lloyd Wolfe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 29, 2015, Bad Axe, MI, at age 72, after a long battle with cancer.
Dave was born on November 8, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI on of the late Eldon Wolfe and Lela (Robarts) Duggan. David was united in marriage to Margaret Ritter on July 2, 1966. Dave retired from Huron Tool Engineering. Dave enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, hunting, fishing and working outside.
Dave is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret. Daughter, Kristine (Dan) Hahn of Graham, NC, son, Bradley (Dawn) Wolfe of Elkton, MI. Grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Hahn, Kyle, LeAnn, and Paige Wolfe. Brother, Dale (Nancy) Wolfe of Elkton, MI, sisters Mary (Jim) Ceranski of Bay City, MI, and Joy (Scotty) Scott of Bad Axe, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by infant daughter, Charlene Ann, his mother, Lela Duggan, father, Eldon Wolfe and sister Colleen Wagner, brother-in-laws, Jim Ritter, John Houston, Harold Schenk and Warren Hagle.
Visitation will be held at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Tuesday, March 31st from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 1st 10 am until time of service.
Funeral services will be conducted at MacAlpine Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert J. Howe officiating. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
