Colleen, M. McGee, 62, of Bad Axe, passed away on April 28, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Bad Axe on June 20, 1954 to the late Martin and Edna (Bambach) McGee.

Colleen graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1972.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church/St. Hubert Parish.

She worked at Sonny Acres Nursing Home in Bad Axe as a certified nursing assistant for many years.   Colleen loved to do crafts, sewing and baking.   She also enjoyed spending time at the Huron County Senior Center.

Colleen is survived by her sisters: Shiela Haddock of South Bend, Indiana and Sharon (Larry) Young of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters in law, Diane McGee of Bay City and Colleen McGee of Bad Axe; her nieces and nephews: Terry Young, (Godson) Mark (Tracy) Young, Michelle  (Ron) Albertson, LaNee (Bernie) McShane, Joe (Teri) McGee, (God Daughter) Jill (Chris) Lohman, Brian McGee, (God Daughter) Laurie (Craig) Howell, Jerry (Jami) Haddock, (God Daughter) Amanda (Michael) Uvalles, James Haddock and Joseph(Kylie) Haddock; several great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James & Martin McGee and her nephews, Michael Young, Scott McGee and Steve McGee.

Per Colleen's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.  A memorial service will take place at a later date.
