Charles Edward Wilde, 83 years old of Bad Axe, passed away at his home on July 15, 2025. He was born to the late Alvin and Laverne (Haldane) Wilde on April 29, 1942 in Bad Axe, Michigan. In June of 1966 he married the love of his life Carole Jean Anderson.  Together they raised two children.

Charlie was known for his unique sense of humor and could keep a room of people laughing. Once you had the pleasure of meeting him, you became his friend. Charlie was sought out for his ability to restore an old classic car into a piece of beauty, and he was also a very talented mechanic.  He and Carole loved to travel and he enjoyed his daily morning coffee at McDonald's with all of his local friends. Charlie was always included in the Hunt family celebrations and regularly stopped for dessert on Friday nights.

Charlie is survived by his sister Trudy (Gary) Wilde, and sister in law Janice (Richard) Langley, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carole Jean; children Shelly and Nathan; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.

Memorials maybe offered in Charlie's name to ,Parkinson Foundation.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
