Carol  Marie  Heintz 70 years old of Bad Axe, Passed away on March 2, 2026 at her home, with her family by her side.

Carol was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on June 17, 1955 to the late Donald and Barbara (Holland) Rohl. She and Keith (Pete) Heintz were married July 7, 1984 and were married for 40 years.

Carol enjoyed trips to the casinos, doting on her grandchildren, giving golf cart rides, and many camping adventures. Carol will be most remembered by, her Heart of Gold, always the giver and never expecting anything in return.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Janel Furtado, Heidi Heintz, Autumn (Michael) Peruski, and Holly Heintz. Her beloved grandchildren; Gabreile, Bailey, Ethan, Draiden, Keilea, Kambri, Courtlan, Jailea, Kennedi, Easton, Paris, Charlotte & Stasia and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Carol will be Friday March 6, 2026 at 1:00PM at MacAlpine Funeral Home Bad Axe.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2026 at 10:00Am until time of service.  A cremation burial will take place in the spring.

Memorials in Carol's name may be offered to the family discretionary fund.
