Bryan D. Engler, 60, of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2016 at Courtney Manor following a short illness.

He was born in Bad Axe on June 12, 1956 to the late Otto and Stella (Krolakowski) Engler.

Bryan graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1974. He was employed at Holdwick Metal Working. Bryan enjoyed working on model airplanes. He also volunteered at the park and patio at the Huron County Medical Care Facility.

He is survived by his brothers: Alan (Ellen) Engler of Bad Axe, Eric (Linda) Engler of Cass City, William Engler of Filion, Andrew Engler of Bad Axe and Ed Engler of Luther, Michigan; sisters: Cathy (Andrew) Ozorowicz of Cass City, Louise (Steve) Nyquist of Minnesota and Jeannie (Nicholas) Carl of New York.

Bryan was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Herbert, and his sister, Nancy Quirk.

Memorial service will be 1 pm on Thursday, July 21st at the MacAlpine Funeral Home. A gathering will be from 11 am until time of service.

Memorials may be offered to the Huron County Medical Care Facility.
