Brian Charles Soper, 60 years old of Elkton, passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born on January 5,1964 to the late Arthur and Ida (Wressell) Soper.

Brian married Laurie Jimkoski on June 8, 1991, and she preceded him in death in November 2015.

Brian enjoyed fishing, camping, having bonfires, and getting together with family. He was a dedicated truck driver for 25 years. Brian was known as a laidback kind of guy, never liking a fuss made over him.

Brian is survived by sons; Kyle (Shelby) Soper, Scott (Ashley) Osentoski, Cory Soper; sisters Ellen Carrol, Kay (Jack) Cummings; grandchildren Jasmine, Natalie, Ayden, Zoi, Harper and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime friend of over 40 years, Jim Rogers. Brian was preceded in death by his brothers Melvin and Gary and sister Mag Wagner.

The family wishes to thank Covenant for the care and dedication given to Brian in his final days.

Per Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
