Betty Jane Rushlow, age 83, resident of Hume Township, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Huron Medical Center.
She was born March 9, 1929 in Snover, MI to the late John and Anna (Beno) Fako.
Betty and David Rushlow were united in marriage on May 7, 1970 in Bad Axe.
In 1971 she became employed at the new Huron Medical Center as credit manager and remained there for 10 years, before moving to Maui, Hawaii with her husband. She enjoyed reading and traveling before her health started to fail.
She is survived by her husband David; their children, Darrell (Linda) Jury of Bad Axe and Jayne Mills of Lincoln Park; two stepchildren, Roberta (Ed) Fitch of Mesick, MI and Rachel Rushlow of Wayne, MI and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Marian (Reginald) Callen of Cranbrook, British Columbia.
