Anthony “Tony” Indo, 70, of Port Austin, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, at Huron County Medical Care Facility following a brief battle with cancer.

Tony was born on April 19, 1956, in Bad Axe, the son of Daniel and Mary Virginia Indo of Kinde.

He is survived by his son, Trevor (Hilary) Indo of Mecosta; his daughter, Nicole Indo of Harbor Beach; his grandchildren, Dayton Indo, Ryder Indo, Ava Schelke, and Hadley Indo; his sisters, Deanna Rice and Janis (Larry) Horetski; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Eugene Rice of Kinde.

Tony enjoyed listening to music, having a beer, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Tony’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Huron County Medical Care Facility and A and D Hospice, as well as to his sister, Deanna Rice, for the compassionate care, love, and support they provided.

In keeping with Tony’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of his life will be held with immediate family at a later date.
