Robert Damrow, 79, of Kinde, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010.
He was born September 23, 1930 in Kinde to the late William and Mary Ann (Blackwell) Damrow.
Robert was united in marriage on August 20, 1954 to Joyce Wahl at K= inde Presbyterian Church.
He graduated from Kinde High School.
He was a member of the Kinde Presbyterian Church and Port Austin U & I Club. = font>
Early on, Robert enjoyed farming, until he took a surveyor position with the Huron County Road Commission where he worked for over 20 years.
He enjoyed gardening, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert was survived by his wife Joyce; two daughters, Julie (Scott) Quick of Bay Port an= d Teri (Dave) J= imkoski of Kinde; three grandchildren Jennifer Quick, Thomas and Tess Jimkoski; one sister Marilyn (William Sr.) MacAlpine = of Bad Axe; one sister-in-law Deann Damrow of Elkton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Donald Damrow.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 7, 2010, from= the MacAlpine Funeral Home- Gage Chapel. Rev. Ron Grimes, pastor of the Kinde Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday March 5,= 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial= will be at the Colfax Cemetery.
